2006 Event Photos Saturday, November 25 Atomic Age, the Road Devils C.C.~Denver, the No Ones C.C.~Engle-in-da-Hood, and a ton of other wonderfully like-minded individuals all gathered at the stockshow complex to participate in the 10th Annual Rocky Mountain Rod & Custom Show~ Creme de la Chrome! Thursday, November 23...Turkey Day!!! Rachel & Snoozer were kind enough to play host for this year's festivities. We were joined by a veritable cornucopia of lovely, lively folks. The family that we've made is the family we keep. Thanks to the Cohen-Raymans for the great eats and fabulous day!
And then the wine, tryptophan and
exhaustion all kicked in and cattiness ensued... Fri., Sat., & Sunday, October 20-22 Bob, Kym & the Coupe headed out to the Live Fast show at the Four Points Sheridan and hung out with some fabulous people! Bob gat some new ink, Kym got two more bridesmaids, and there was even some guerilla, tag-team pinstriping! Saturday, September 14-15 Nick Pew was kind enough to ask Bob to bring the Coupe out to the Hells Angels annual Art of the Chopper show at the Andenken Gallery. Saturday, September 2 Tossed some flesh on the fire at Harnsberger Hof over Labour Day weekend. Thanks to all the folks who stopped by! Great to see old friends and new! Sunday, August 27 Bob & Kym headed out at the butt-crack'o'dawn to attend the annual Arvada Fireman's Show, "Hot Times, Cool Cars". (I didn't know they made a 6:00 in the morning now! Who's stupid idea was that?) We had prime space under some shade with the Road Devils CC-Denver. Saw some great cars, made some new friends, and watched a grown man make hot-laps on a pretty bike. Can you ask for anything more from a Sunday? Saturday, August 12 Mr. Stacy Benson and his lovely sister, Amy, joined forces to celebrate their birthdays at the Oriental Theater. Live music, old movies, hot rods, fast bikes and great people were in abundance to wish the siblings many happy returns! Later that night...The Hoodlums hosted another great show at Crown Lanes, and Kevin & Fernando blessed us with an impromptu fire show. Saturday, August 4 It's the attack of the 50 ft. gearheads! Kym, Ryan and the Englehood kids visited Tiny Town for a little rest, relaxation and silly recreation. Friday, August 3 Joe and Katrina played host to a bunch of drunken greasers. What better way to spend a Friday evening? Thanks to J&K! Friday, July 28 Atomic Age, Inc. was visited by the great & talented Curt Lout, free-lance photog for several great magazines of interest, including Ol' Skool Rodz and Tattoo Savage. Curt was out to shoot Bob's Coupe for Car Kulture Deluxe, with a little aesthetic assistance from the lovely Miss Lily. We'll keep you all posted as to when an issue might drop! Later than night, somewhere in Kansas...
Ryan, Chuck and Kevin hightailed it to
Kansas for the KKOA Lead Sled Spectacular. Along the way Ryan and Chuck
"rattled" into Salina and came across a man, his son, and a garage with a
racecar. This man was a cool enough cat to scoot his sprint to allow Ryan and
Chuck room and tools to cure the ailments of the wagon to get them back on the
road again. While at the show, Ryan and Chuck met up with Kevin and his dad
to hang out with Bill Hines, Daryl Starbird, Gene Winfield, and George Barris
- the crew's heros! Ryan received top 25 pick for his wagon, an autographed
shirt by Bill Hines, made some awesome new friends and had the experience of a
lifetime....
What's gonna come of next year's trip???
Will the rest of the No Ones gang attend??? Will the other Atomic Crew join
in??? What other types of mishaps can the crews encounter???
Tune in next year for another exciting
adventure of.... Salina or Bust?!?!
Saturday, July 22 Bob and Kym had the distinct honour of joining Miss Stella Newens in celebrating her third birthday at a Princess Party in Platteville. Friday, July 21 Rick Murray and the lads from Krazy Kreations held a little soiree to celebrate their homecoming from Sunnyside, Utah, where they spent the week impressing judges at Bo Huff's Car Show & Movie Shoot.. Thanks to the whole Krazy Kreations Krew for a fabulous evening, incredible food, and the opportunity to meet Mr. Huff! Sunday, July 9 On Sunday, Bob & Kym got the hell out of Dodge in a Dodge and made the trek to Winter Park for the Winter Park Folk Festival. Bob's high school buddy, Fil Kronengold, played a veritable cornucopia of instruments with Tom Freund and Chris Lovejoy. Out of concern for the electrical equipment, the rain drove us inside for an amazing and intimate performance by some incredibly talented people. Princeton High School rules! Saturday, July 8 Well, no one ever accused us of being too sweet! We scoffed at the rain and headed out to the American Legion Lodge's annual car show. Dark clouds be damned! Wednesday, June 21 Not only is 6.21 International Go Skateboarding Day, and the summer solstice, it's also Kym and Ben's (from Super Screenprint) birthdays! After we checked out Ben's new Heavy Metal Encyclopedia and devoured some b-day chocolate (complete w/ candles and race cars), we went out for some margarita madness...Kym says "Thanks to all for a brilliant birthday!" Saturday, June 17 saw us at the annual Crown Lanes show. All kinds of fun was had by all kinds of people! Sunday, June 4 Loveland, CO played perfect host to the 9th Annual GoodGuys Rod & Custom Show. It was a great turn out! Thanks to the Weld County Customs kids for space under their tent! Sunday, May 28 we met up with Kym's old riding club, the UTMC, for some BBQ action at "the Compound". Saturday, May 20 found us at The Squeeze Inn's annual car show. The turnout was great, as usual, and the weather was perfect.. Thanks to Ralph and the whole Squeeze Inn gang for a great show and a great day!
